Michelle Sakamoto: I trained and developed to be a dancer in my hometown of San Jose, California. I've been dancing since I was a young girl, through out high school and college. In between my education and being a musician I love to dance my heart out. It is my passion where I can express myself freely without any boundaries. I have a background in all styles of dance which is great art form that needs to have creative skills, technique and gracefulness. After a few years of entering college, my friends and I form our hip hop group called Adrenaline and I became one of the Co- Directors from 2003-2005. As a dancer, it's a great experience to perform with many dance studios, giving back to the community and volunteering for a variety of charities around the nation.
In 2006, I moved to Sacramento attending the university to finish my college education. I decided on a Business Human Resources Major and a Dance Minor. Once I started taking dance classes for my minor requirements I was motivated to be more involved in the master classes and other events put on by the department. In 2007, The Dangerous Lorraines DanceTheater was re-introduced with new company members. The dance / theater department at Sacramento State University gave my colleagues and I a great opportunity to experience a professional level of dance.
